Smart Entry

Simply carrying the smart key in your pocket or handbag conveniently unlocks your Hybrid Camry as soon as you grasp the door handle. And it starts at the push of a button thanks to Smart Start.

Hybrid Camry with keyless entry can recognise its owner. As you approach, the key in your pocket or bag is detected and verified by the car, unlocking the door for you.

Keyless entry is part of a computerised system that uses electronic sensors and transmitters to prepare your car for automatic unlocking.

As you approach your car, the key in your pocket or bag is detected and verified by the car. All you need to do is clasp the door handle and it unlocks the door for you.

Locking the doors is just as simple. Just push the lock switch on the handle of the driver or front passenger door.

The meter indicates efficiency within four possible ranges. The green Eco-zone shows the optimum fuel efficiency level in an instant. This helps the driver optimise fuel economy and reduce environmental impact.

Push-button start

Once you're inside Hybrid Camry, you can still leave your key in your pocket. It transmits a security ID which the car's computer verifies, deactivating the immobiliser so all you have to do is push the start button with your foot on the brake pedal to start the car.

As you'd expect from Hybrid Camry, you can also listen to the car stereo or run the air conditioning without starting the engine. Simply pushing the power button once, without your foot on the brake, gives you full control.
